Although I like the color saturated stars, I'm not really thrilled with this image. It was assembled from a grab bag of poorly-planned subframes in LRGB plus Ha, O-III, S-II and Near IR. The image only uses about 9.6 hours worth of exposure but I had a lot of trouble controlling the brightness of the nebula - despite several rounds of HDR Multiscale Transform. I even resorted to using curves in an attempt to back-down the blow-out by selectively reducing brightness.
