Description

I was tweaking my new mount, improving the polar alignment. I wasn't planning on imaging because of the nearly full moon, but I decided to take an image of the moon, just to see how it would come out with my setup (which is optimized for DSOs, not the moon or planets). I was surprised how good the image came out, especially because the moon was directly over the roof of my house. The moon started to be obstructed by the roof about 10-15 minutes after this image was taken.

This is a single image, not a stacked image. It was sharpened (probably excessively so) to bring out details and noise reduction applied. I also downsized the image somewhat.

SGP was set to image at 0.001 sec, but my camera minimum shutter is 0.03 seconds, so the image is likely with 0.03 sec shutter.
