Located near to our milkyway``'s center, these bright nebulae are an easy catch for the unaided eye under good skies. Embedded in a dark lane and surrounded by dense star clouds, they both show distinct personality when looked at closer. And below the Lagoon is another very colorful nebula complex of mixed dust and emission areas, bearing different names like IC1275 NGC6559 etc.
