Description

Whilst the moon is up, I continue to try and experiment with the new scope. I am having great difficulties with the guiding and many subs are awful, with very bad star shapes. I am quite bothered about this, because when it comes to doing some images that require many subs, it is going to be tough. I know longer focal length scopes are harder to track correctly, but my scope's balance is good, the polar alignment is good and the graph on PHD2 is also fine - and these variables always work on my other scopes! So I am stumped. Anyway, here is a stack of 65 subs at 1 minute each - imaging time is thus 1 hour and 5 minutes. Thanks everyone
