Description

I had no idea what I was going to image. I looked around the sky and I noticed that

Sagittarius was moving toward the West and was lower in the sky than it had been this

Summer. It would not be in the sky much longer this season so I decided to image M28

and if I had time I would image M8 and M20. M28 has always been tough for me to

image and process because it is small and is nestled in a very dense, saturated star field.

It is a compact cluster and does not have stars stretching out into the outer regions like

other globular clusters. It's relatively bright but in an eye piece it looks like a fuzzy spot

of light. It's hard to resolve stars unless you're using a very large aperture scope. With all

of that said please enjoy my most recent image of M28.
