Description

I was so amazed by the near IR view of this nebula sculpted by the powerful light of giant "O" stars in the neighborhood that I have decided to combine my HaRGB data to one layer of Spitzer near IR from this area.  The least we can say is that it presents us with a very different aspect with this dust which actually shines in infrared colors that our eyes cannot see, but which display brilliantly in the near IR. To my eyes, using dynamic narrowband combinations with pixelmath and using the blue channel as the dominant color to bring out that layer of dust seemed like the best approach.

I hope you like it!
