Description

Perhaps the most famous star cluster in the sky, the Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters and Messier 45, is one of the brightest and closest open clusters. The Pleiades contains over 3000 stars, is about 400 light years away, and 13 light years across. Blue reflection nebulae is caused by illuminated dust between Earth and the stars of the cluster.
