Description

Hello Astrobinners!

Three versions of Green comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF)

Never done a comet before ... so here are my first meagre efforts

Eventually found a video on youtube showing how to stack comets in deepsky stacker when using seperate RGB filters so had a go

On the 4th Feb there was a bit of clear sky but also a full moon which wasnt ideal

Pointed all three rigs at the target and got about an hour exposure on each

From left to right

TS-Optics CF-APO 130mm f/5.6 @ 728 mm focal length
TS-Optics Imaging Star 102mm f/5.1 @ 520 mm focal length
William Optics Redcat 51 mm f/4.9 @ 250 mm local length

Other than the bright moon combined with bortle 7/8 location the main issue in processing was walking noise in the redcat 51 (for some reason) and the stacking artefacts (streaks from stars)
