Description

The Eastern Veil Nebula is a large supernova remnant in the constellation Cygnus. It is an expanding cloud created by the death of an exploded star. Scientists believe that the light from this supernova explosion reached Earth about 5000 years ago.
The entire Cygnus Loop area takes up about 3 degrees in the night sky, equal to 6 full moons.

Title: Trading some resolution for more faint details

Description: I went for an agressive stretch and HDR to bring out faint details. Unfortunately this means that I had to be more aggresive with the noise reduction, thus this photo has less resolution compared to the original one.

Although, It's worth it in my opinion.
