Description

Finally some decent seeing within days of Jupiter reaching opposition, and we were fortunate to be treated to Io transiting Jupiter and the GRS near the meridian at prime viewing hours. A real treat after months of poor seeing!

Imaged with a C8 Evo, custom Siebert 2x barlow, ZWO ADC, and ZWO ASI224MC. Image capture using Firecapture. Stacking in AutoStakkert3. Wavelet sharpening in Registax.
