Description

When I went outside tonight I intended on trying to image NGC 4038 and NGC 4039 the Antennae Galaxies. I did a select and slew to these objects and I could tell that their position in the sky was going to put a bind on my mount and require a Meridian flip. I've not been too successful with

Meridian flips so I decided that I would move on to something else. Next I chose M81 and M82.

However I was having trouble framing both objects in the narrow field of view of my AT6RC scope.

After taking about 6 test images and not being pleased with the framing on any of the images I

decided to again move on to another target. I looked around and noticed Vega fairly low

in the Northeastern sky. I usually try and image M57 at least one time a year so I thought maybe this would be a good opportunity. So with all of that said please enjoy my most recent image

of M57.
