Just another enhancement of an old project, the beautiful needle galaxy. In the meantime I switched from a 6" to a 8" newtonian scope and the camera is now a mono version. So I took only the color information from the old NEX image (RGB sensor) and combined it with the new acquired luminance data (ASI178MM). The result is surprisingly detailed in the face of the high light pollution here...
Edit: Sorry for the color mismatch due to the weird color handling by AB and also sorry for the lack of astrometry data...
