Description

This is a spectroscopic image of M57. The picture shows the line emissions at h-alpha, OIII and h-beta on the left side of the order zero image. The resolotion is not great due to the relatively fast telescope (TS 65q f/6.5) which is not ideal for the used Baader 1 1/4" Blaze Grating Spectroscope (207 lines/mm).

The gaps in the star spectra are caused by the filter transmission functions of the used Astronomik RGB filters.

The inset shows a picture of M57 shot on May 9th with a C8 during a star session at my colleague and friend in Achim close to Bremen.
