Description

NGC 6914 is a complex of reflection nebulae lying 6000 light years away in the constellation of Cygnus. Embeded within this nebula are Cygnus OB2 stars that ionize hydrogen gas as well as reflect blue light within a nearby dust cloud. This nebula has been catagoried as two separate nebulae in the van den Bergh catalog: vdB 131 and vdB 132.
