Description

Messier 3 (M3, NGC 5272) is a magnitude 6.2 globular cluster in the constellation of Canes Venatici, and is located at a distance of about 33,900 light years. It has an apparent size of 18 arc minutes.

Exposure: LRGB (unbinned): L:22x6 R:14x6 min, G:13x6 min, B:9x6 min Total 5.8 hrs

Processing: Image acquisition using CCD Autopilot. Initial processing was done using Maxim DL with subsequent processing with Photoshop.
