Description

This is my first attempt at Neptune. With an apparent diameter of around 2.35", it's only about 13% the size of Saturn right now. Add to this a 7.8 magnitude and you have an object that one can only hope results in a fuzzy ball with color... so mark this a success! There is some bright equatorial action in the correct direction of the globe that might be real... but at this scale and from my muddy skies, I don't think you ever really know the difference between this and a more likely scope/image artifact.
