Description

I didn't intend on imaging these objects tonight. I wanted to image NGC 6124 an open cluster

near Sagittarius to the South. I did a one star alignment and then did a select and slew to NGC 6124. I could tell

that after maybe two images my mount would do a meridian flip. I've not had good luck with

the mount performing a meridian flip so I decided to pick another target. I chose NGC 1396 and took a test image. I was not pleased with the test image. However by this time clouds had moved in and blocked the sky. I turned everything off and waited in my chair to see if the clouds would clear. After about 20 minutes the sky began to clear toward the Northeast. I could see Cassiopeia good and it didn't look like there were any clouds in that area. So I decided to image IC 59 and IC 63. I quickly chose this target because I knew that I would be racing the Moon and would not have a lot of time. With all that said please enjoy my most recent image of IC 59 and IC 63.
