Description

The constellation Cassiopeia, in the Northern sky, hosts many rich objects contained in our own Milky Way Galaxy including the two in this image. On the top left of the image is the Cassiopeia Salt-and-Pepper cluster (M52) and on the bottom right of the image is the Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635), a H II region emission nebula. The “bubble" is created by the stellar wind from a massive, hot central star, SAO 20575.
