Description: My most recent processing attempt with this image. At this time of year in the Ottawa area which is at latitude 45 dergees these two beautiful nebulae are located in the centre of the Milky Way's galactic close to the southern horizon. This is my first real serious astro-image done with my new auto-guiding system on my trusty old Star Adventurer tracker. Technical info: Camera: Nikon D5500 unmodified Lens: Nikon as-f 300/f4 ED IF Filter: Hoya Intensifier anti-light pollution filter Guide scope: Starfield 50mm Guide camera: Atair GPCAM2 AR130 mono Exposure: 89 x 3-mintes = 4.45 hours integration time Aperture: 5.2 with aperture mask using step-down rings ISO: 800 No calibration frames Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker Processed in Pixinisght 1.8 and Photoshop CS5 Thanks guys!
