Description

Recently had a large lamp on the property removed and the night has never been darker here.

I didn't know how/failed to process CLS filtered images in Photoshop in the past so i let the filter sit in my gear bag. But i am learning and using pixinsight now and am not looking back.

I tried using my CLS Astronomik clip-in filter again for my dslr after seeing that i was getting a considerable amount of LP still even in a 90s exposure. The lamp being removed made a huge difference but didn't change my exposures times very much. Looking for answers I clipped my filter in, refocused, and began test exposures.

Using this filter again resulted in pushing out 10 minute exposures with my 81mm f/4.7 refractor. This is the time i settled on being that the red channel was exposed almost fully out from the left of the histogram. Green 1/2, Blue was ~3/4.

Needless to say I will be using the filter regularly now.
