This is the first image that I processed from this summer holidays.

The APO is now correctly collimated

I am using my new Ioptron CEM120EC2 mount that I just acquired to replace my AZEQ6. The performance of this mount is EXCELLENT. The mount has no Periodic Error and has very good pointing accuracy due to its optical encoders on both RA and DEC axis.

Starting this summer, I have used a modified version of PHD2 to do Multi Star Guiding. My goal was to avoid "chasing the seeing" by guiding on the average position of a set of stars (5 to 10 typically) as opposed to a single star. This program is working without any issue and I use it on a routine basis now.

The processing was done in PI as follow :
For each R ,G ,V, Ha & OIII channels :
- Flat Field Dark Substraction
- Flat Field Integration
- Images Calibration (Dark Substraction and FF correction)
- Cosmetic Correction
- Image Registration
- Image Integration
- Noise Reduction (Demure)

Using each integrated channel :
- Created RGB color image using channel combination
- Created RGBHOO image using NBLRGB combination tool
- Nonlinear Image Creation
- Crop and deflip image
- Color Balance on stars
- HDR transform
- Color boost using mask to protect background
Final image adjustments performed in Iphoto on Imac (levels adjustments, and further color boost)

I plan to improve :
- the color of the M27 core area
- the display of the stars

B version : Ha & OIII frames only, color balance on stars. The core area color is better.
