Description

I wasn't sure what I was going to image when I went outside. I looked around and noticed Cygnus had moved past meridian. Cygnus is slowly making it's way out of the sky for this season. I've always liked this part of the sky and I usually try and image it at least once a year. So I decided to image the area around Sadr. Not long after I began imaging I began having heavy moisture problems. After every 4 images I would have to remove the moisture from my primary objective and guide scope with a hair dryer. It's really not a good idea to image an object with a large, very bright star in the field of view when there is a lot of moisture in the air. However since I had already begun imaging I decided I would just continue with this object moisture or not. As it turned out this image was very difficult to process because of moisture affecting Sadr. Most of my processing time was spent trying to fix Sadr. Which I never really did. I just lessoned it's affect on the rest of the image a little. With all of that said please enjoy my most recent image of Sadr and Vicinity.
