Description

Here is what I managed with NGC 1499 - The California nebula. This is close to 11 hours of integration. It's 21 x 10 min of Ha, 21 x 10 min of OIII, 15 x 5 min each RGB. Taken with Stellarvue 70, .8X reducer, EQ6-R mount, QHY 5L-II guide cam. Atik 460, Astrodon Ha (5nm) OIII (3nm) and RGB filters. I took the RGB image and combined it with the OIII and Ha using the NBRGB script, then added the Ha to the image again as a lum layer. Didn't know how it would turn out but it turned out ok! There are some dark rings around my stars, I think that is due to my approach to deconvolution on this image. Thanks for looking!
