Description

Now that its raining all the time, I am reprocessing, or processing for the first time a ton of data that I collected over the observing season this year. Back in May, there was a particularly good night when I happened to do a virtual star party. Some of the data collected that night was just great on account of the great transparency and seeing conditions. It was so good, light pollution barely produced gradients in many of my images.

This image of M92 has lots of cool colored doubles in it. Unfortunately, I didn't quite get that nearby little spiral galaxy (PGC 59984, 15.2m) fully into the field of view. I've gotten better at preserving star color in images now that I am using Fitswork 4 for all my processing. I will reprocess and update my image of M13 at some point so the color isn't so washed out.
