Description

This is NGC 2624, otherwise known as the Cone nebula and Christmas Tree Cluster.

I acquired this image in January 2016 based on one 10-minute observation.

Processing was done using MaxIM DL and Photoshop. I chose to leave the star blooms in the image because it gives it a more festive feel.
