Description

IC 1805, aka The Heart Nebula, is an emission nebula roughly 7,500 light years distant in Cassiopeia, near the border with Perseus.

This was my first run with the Starizona APEX-S reducer, but I didn't quite nail the spacing right.  The corner stars are slightly elongated in the radial direction, suggesting I need to add a bit more spacing.

12/24/2023 EDIT--reprocessed using BlurXTerminator V4 and Narrowband Normalization (HOO, Mode 2) in PixInsight.
