Description

Final picture is comet aligned.

46P/Wirtanen passed through these days in Taurus constellation close to the Pleiades, and so was very low and surrounded by a lot of light pollution and ambient humidity.

Temperature was around -3°C, so everything froze: PC, keyboard, mouse, SA mount, camera, optics despite heating resistance...so thanks to my old hair dryer which saved my session: no more frost on optics after blowing hot air then setting up heating resistance to the max T°C! ;-D

Finally, magnitude goes beyond of 16 with only 27mins of total integration time despite these conditions and just before the comet falling below the horizon.

Very faint PGC13933/UGC2873 (B=16) galaxy was captured and is located just above at the right of the comet, with a small asteroid-like trail just above this galaxy.
