Description

These image of the Orion Nebula Complex was generated using the Pixinsight NBRGB combination script. This is my second attempt at NBRGB processing following the example in the Inside PixInsight book by Warren Kellerfor the processing flow. The result turned out more red-heavy than I like, so I'll need to work on the processing technique and perhaps better yet shoot some OIII data to add to the mix...

RGB data: OSC RGB data taken on December 30, 2018, January 6 & 10, 2019 with WO GT81 at F4.7 (382 mm focal length) using Flat6A II field flattener/0.8x reducer, Orion Skyglow Imaging Filter, and full spectrum modified Nikon D5300.
