This is my first image where the main focus is a dark nebula, a cold cloud of interstellar dust. This image actually captures two dark nebulae Lynds’ Dark Nebulae 1621 and 1622. Other nebula in the field include a small part of the much larger Barnard’s loop (ha emission nebula), and two reflection nebula, van den Bergh 62 and 63.
