After a long period of clouds and a lacking of time there were two nights with clear sky. In the last year I made a widefield image of this area with the 100mm macro lens, so now I decided to a close up of IC 1396 over two nights with the EF 200mm L. I combined the RGB image with a synthetic luminance in PI. Interestingly, I had far less problems with the heavy gradient than usual.
