Description

Molecular cloud / Integrated flux nebula, aka LBN 105, Sh2-73, backed by an array of many distant galaxies in Hercules. Detected but categorized as a reflection or HII nebula by Sharpless, hence aka Sh2-73. MBM refers to Magnani, Blitz and Mundy's "Molecular gas at high Galactic latitudes," 1985 survey of high latitude carbon monoxide data, which refined understanding of the composition of this previously cataloged nebula.
