Description

This is my deepest image with the RASA so far at 10 hours total time. If you calculate out the exposure differences for f-ratio, this equates to about 100 hours on an f/7 refractor of similar focal length. This is not factoring in aperture differences so it's probably more.

Needless to say, this is probably pretty close to the edge of just how deep I can go in my light pollution (Bortle 5, SQM 19.7). Take a look at the full size image, there's probably thousands of galaxies on here!

The image presented is the heart of the Virgo Cluster about 65 million light years away, which itself is the heart of the Virgo Supercluster, our home supercluster that the Local Group belongs to.
