Here's an object I've been processing for the past few days - it's my first RGB color image taken with my new monochromatic camera - one color at a time! At about 23 million LY away, The Whirlpool Galaxy, or M51a, is in the absorbing a nearby dwarf galaxy dubbed M51b.
