Witch Head Nebula – IC 2118 – NGC 1909

I wanted to push my gear to its limits and I did. Recall this is an Alt/Az mount but the camera is modified. I used an ISO of 800, exposure of 145 seconds, f/5.6, with the 250 mm Canon lens. I wanted to gather 20 Lights but only got 13 as the DSO dropped behind the tree tops.

So I will be shooting brighter DSO from now on as you can tell under Full Resolution on this image. From the beginning of this hobby I have always posted my best and my worse, here is an example of the worse.
