This just didn't come out how I was hoping. You'd think a bright galaxy like this wouldn't be all that difficult, but processing this was a nightmare. I think I shot myself in the foot by stacking the Orion SkyGlow Astrophotography filter in front of the reducer - I think it absolutely killed my blue channel (my green looks great, for what it's worth) and my lum data doesn't look much better. I've changed the filter situation already, but 1-2 images in the works will suffer for it as well. I got to say: Broadband under the bright skies of suburban Philadelphia is just tough. I refuse to give up - galaxies have always been my favorite subjects - but processing narrowband data is at least 10 times easier for me.
