Description

I have had this data for a while and have processed it before. Still, it has always been a challenge as this data set contains crazy gradients all over the place (thanks to the incredibly light-polluted sky of my previous place and some data acquisition with some strong moonlight). I felt like I was always killing the signal in order to contain the gradient. Here is a little sample of said gradients:

This week, I saw the addition of a GraXpert script in PixInsight and gave that a try. That in combination with my normal DBE process, I finally felt like I could work on a clean canvas. 

It is worth mentioning that this was my first target using my then-newly acquired EQ6-R. Finding a target with that mount felt like a breeze; coming from a star tracker, the go-to functionality was a feature I looked forward to the most!
