Description

This was found recently from my old data folder and it was one of my earliest attempts of taking a Milky Way shot. It was taken almost 8 years ago when I entered into imaging the night sky. This was taken using my uncle's Nikon D3000 with its 70-300mm kit lens. At the time, I didn't even have access to internet so I hat to use software that I have, that is Photoshop to stack the images. (Honestly, back then I thought DSS was an extremely hard tool to learn :-O ) . Unfortunately, there is no RAW data with me to re-process it.

However, this is a very important image for me as it was the first time I managed to archive a reasonably good SNR in an image that I captured myself. It was a 2009 made low-end camera and it was at 1600 ISO which is the max it can reach. I hope that is not bad for me at the time.
