Description

The Horsehead Nebula (Barnard 33), approximately 1500 light years away close to the most eastern star in Orion's Belt, is a hydrogen gas cloud made visible by the background nebulosity.

The Flame Nebula (NGC 2024) is also located in the Orion constellation about 1400 light years away and it is illuminated by Alnitak, a hot blue supergiant (and a pain for the astrophotographers due to its immense brightness). The Flame Nebula is the home of a cluster of several hundred very young stars.

Shot in RGB and Ha, combined in astropixel processor (HaRGB) and then used Ha as a Luminance Layer. The nebulosity was processed in Adobe Photoshop after the stars were removed through Starnet++ and then combined it to the HaRGB containing the stars.
