The Lagoon-Project

Das ist das Erste Mal für mich, daß ich den Lagoon- und Trifidnebel fotografieren konnte. Ebenfalls ist es meine erste HOO Version eines Objekts. Möglich geworden im Urlaub in Calabrien im Süden Italiens, standen die beiden Objekte in einer angenehmen Höhe am Horizont. Das Wetter hat ebenfalls mitgespielt und so konnte ich immerhin ca. 12 stunden an Daten sammeln, wobei die HOO version gute 8 std Daten beinhaltet. Es ist schlichtweg DAS wichtigste in unserem Hobby:
einer dunkler klarer Himmel.
Eine gute Bortle4 ist dort unten vorzufinden. Das Milchstraßenband kann man bereits fantastisch beobachten, während die Kamera läuft... und das mit dem Gewissen, morgen nicht arbeiten zu müssen . Ich hoffe für einen Moment könnt ihr es selbst nochmal spüren, dieses Urlaubsgefühl, an dem wir alle hoffentlich noch lange zehren in einer solch seltsamen Zeit. 
Das Lagoon- Projekt ist das erste einer Serie aus 4 Projekten, die ich aus  Süditalien mitbringen konnte. Fortsetzung folgt!

This is the first time for me that I have been able to photograph the Lagoon and Trifid Nebula. It is also my first HOO version of an object. Made possible on vacation in Calabria in southern Italy, the two objects were at a comfortable height on the horizon. The weather also played along and so I was able to collect about 12 hours of data, whereby the HOO version contains a good 8 hours of data. it is simply THE most important thing in our hobby: a dark, clear sky. A good Bortle4 can be found down there. You can already watch the Milky Way ribbon fantastic while the camera is running ... and with the conscience that you won't have to work tomorrow .
I hope for a moment you can feel it again for yourself, that holiday feeling, which we all will hopefully feed on for a long time in such a strange time.
