Description

The Wild Duck Cluster (6,197 LY) is an open cluster of stars in the southern constellation of Scutum. Its name derives from the brighter stars forming a triangle which could resemble a flying flock of ducks. Was capturing the deep sky between Jupiter and Saturn and saw this object when viewing photos afterwards. As was an unplanned target, only captured one image at iso1600 for 60s.
