Yes, the title is correct. Weather was abysmal and I could only get 1 B frame in two nights. So I had to generate B from L, R and G. This worked rather well, I think. If you look closely at the brightest stars they look a bit wonky which is exacerbated by the filterwheel in front of the RASA. I was happy the vignetting by the 1,25" filters totally calibrated out with my flats.

This is an open star cluster surrounded by a diffuse nebula, at a distance of approx. 6350 light years from us. It was probably discovered by Italian astronomer Hodierna in 1654, but this can not be proven, so German astronomer Bruhns is noted as the discoverer in 1857. In the lower part of the image there is a nodule with more blue reflection nebula, and it is assumed that NGC 2174 designates this nodule. The cluster and star forming regions in it seem not extensively studied. The only papers I found concern themselves with the age of the star forming regions and are from 1975 (Grasdalen, NGC 2175), 1989 (Kömpe, et al, NGC 2175) and 2006 (A. Tej et al, IRAS 06055+2039, an infrared cluster). There are, of course, numerous papers that make generalisations about star clusters within HII regions.
