This is the 2 scope setup for the recent posts in the 2024 spring galaxy season.

Scope 1:
Celestron C11EdgeHD with .7x reducer/flattener, 48mm Camera Adapter, Bob's Knobs on Secondary mirror, Celestron Focus Motor
Celestron CGX-L mounting. - Complete rebuild. ceramic bearings on worms, reworked RA housing - was rubbing and scarred RA main Gear.

12vdc power supply provided by a 3D printer PS 50Amps regulated adjustable 12VDC (Located in toolbox)
Bee-Link NUC 19VDC with 16GRam 512SSD 1000Mbit Ethernet with Wi-fi
Software: ASCOM, Celestron CPWI for mounting control, PHD2 for guiding, SGP for scheduling and camera control and acquisition.

Scope 2:
Orion Steel tube RC10 with Feather Touch 3" focuser 48mm End Cap with motor, Skywatcher .85x reducer/flattener, Blue Fireball 48mm manual rotator, AstroWerks custom baffle tube with knife-edge internal spiral for main mirror, Complete rebuild and redesign of Secondary Mirror Holder ala Kenneth Novak, AstroWerks Custom 3D printed Dew Shield with knife-edge spiral baffling
Software Bisque MyT mounting with CW extension, AstroWerks custom Pole-Master adapter and spacers under the saddle for better thru mounting cabling from PS and NUC to OTA.

Flat Panel is an illuminated tracing board for drawings. It has adjustable brightness. I use 2 up to 4 stretched white T-Shirts over top of OTA then set light panel on top for Flats Frames. I use the same setup with a smaller light panel on the Refractors and Samyang rigs as well

The RC10 is going off-line today, March 14, 2024. It shares the FT 3" focuser with my Skywatcher 100ED refractor. The 100ED is going into service as one of the telescopes I will be use during the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse on April 8th, 2024. The RC10 will resume operations after I return from the eclipse road trip!
