Description

Just less then 2 days ago a nice nova was discovered in the constellation of Delphinus. After the discovery mail I directly pointed my telescope to it and within 5 hours I could take the first photometric data. It shows a rapid increase in brightness and in just one day it has already increased 2 magnitudes. Now it's already around 4.5 so visible with the naked eye. Probably it will go on for a while. In between the photometric measurements last night I wanted to catch it on photo, so I made an image of the new nova together with NGC 6905, aka the blue flash nebula. I think we will see this one for some time to come...
