Description

Sometimes it's fun to find the galaxies that don't always catch the eye, as they are not as spectacular as say a, M51A, or M31 spiral galaxies.  But these relatively small galaxies are very cool.  There is a lot going on in NGC 4449.  It is considered an Irregular Magellanic type galaxy, about 12 million light years away, and part of the M94 group of galaxies.  It is also considered a star burst galaxy for all the star forming that is going on.  This is my first attempt at this very interesting target.  Clear Skies!
Mark
