Description

M15 is about 33,600 light-years from Earth, and 175 light years in diameter.It is a globular cluster in the constellation Pegasus and at an estimated 12.0 billion years old, it is one of the oldest known globular clusters. It is home to approx 100,000 stars.

This was taken through my Altair Wave 115mm ED APO using Atik 314L+ camera mounted on an HEQ5 Pro Synscan from the light polluted skies over Southampton UK.

The image comprises 20 x Luminance @ 120 sec; 12 x Red and Green @ 150 secs; 12 x Blue @ 180 sec; 10 x Luminance @ 180 secs.
