PORTUGAL

The spiral galaxy NGC 891 in the Andromeda constellation, with a magnitude of 10.8 is 30 million light years away, is similar to the Milky Way.

The dust disk shows unusual filament patterns, scientists assume that supernova explosions gave rise to this interstellar dust.

Image acquisition 09/22/2020 to 10/10/2020, total time 10.16 hours.

Technical note: LRGB (120 + 24 + 18 + 21), with exposure times of 200 seconds.
