The Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters, is an open star cluster located in the constellation Taurus. It is easily visible to the naked eye and is composed of hot, young stars formed from the same cosmic cloud of gas and dust.

The first partly clear night since two months 🎉, until the high clouds started to roll in right before midnight.
With the field of view of the 150PDS and the square sensor of the 533MC it would be something for a mosaic, nevertheless I just found out that at least all girls seem to have made it into the frame, and Atlas and Pleione in fact are their parents. For me processing the image still is a challenge, as too much contrast and sharpening looks weird on the nebulae and dust, could also be due to the seeing.
The spikes are no challenge with the CNC-machined spider, maybe it is finally time for some extra velours 😅
