Well I got the bad news on Friday that my hard drive with all my AP data since I started in 2021 is toast. Shame on me for being cheap on data storage, especially compared to the cost of all the AP gear

The silver lining... I found I had a light leak in my image train when redoing my calibration frames. All subs used in this image actually had the light leak present. Between fixing the light leak and learning PixInsight, I've been very happy reprocessing some data and processing the bit of data I've been able to capture in the past few weeks.
This Flaming Star Nebula is a combination of SHO data and RGB data. I used StarXterminator to create four files after stacking. One SHO with only stars and without and one RGB with only stars and one without stars. The SHO starless data, RGB starless data, and RGB stars were stretched and processed separately and recombined using PixelMath. I opted for a slightly different color scheme than the Hubble palette as something called the Flaming Star seemed like it should be more orange and less gold. It might be a bit different than a typical presentation, but I hope you like it. Comments appreciated.
