Description

M94 captured with two scopes. The first 7h or so with the Epsilon 130D and 2600MC, which gave a decent SNR and a deeper look at the thousands of tiny galaxies and clusters/strings of galaxies in the background, and also the stellar halo around the galaxy core itself. Second data set was the 2600MC with my old Intes MN56, cropped to get some detail in the core of the galaxy. I had to crop as the tiny secondary mirror doesn't illuminate the APS-C very well, and correction out to the edges is prone to aperture vignetting and dark beams in cracked stars (cat eye bokeh, like fsq85 and similar. This worked out really well, with some color and definition after drizzling the data. What I like about these widefield galaxy images is the density of background galaxies.
