Description

Taken on Jan 15 2023, Scarborough, Ontario
Acquisition: 25 light frames x 1 min exposures, 16 dark frames, 16 bias frames, 19 flat frames and stacked through DeepSky Stacker
Equipment:Nikon D5300 (unmodified), Astro-Tech AT72EDii with 0.8x reducer, Svbony SW165 120mm guidescope, ZWO ASI120mm mini guide camera, ES IEXOS-100 mount, controlled by a Raspberry Pi

Dynamic Crop to remove stacking artifacts
Automatic Background Extraction
Starnet to separate the stars from the background to clean
Clonestamp to tackle two artifacts on the starless image
Background Neutralization and Color Calibration
Multiscale Linear Transform to tackle the noise
EZ Soft Stretch to Non-Linear and ArcSinhStretch for mini adjustments to taste
SCNR for green removal

Non-Linear:
CurvesTransformation to darken the background slightly
ColorSaturation to bring out more of the blues
Invert and SCNR to tackle the purple
EZ Star Reduction to taste
Photoshop:StarSpikesPro to taste

There was a small gap where the Pleiades was close to zenith and no clouds so I took advantage of it. There were 52 ish lights total, but only 25 of them were actually usable according to DSS. Its my first attempt at this target so feedback is appreciated!
